Quiz Night Once Again Quiz Night Once Again 4. 4. 2018 Author: Romana Vančáková On Wednesday 28th March 2018, the Department of Foreign Languages in cooperation with the Foreign Department revived our the fame of Quiz Night. Last time we organised the Quiz Night for MUP‘s 15-year anniversary, while this time the event was aimed at our visiting Erasmus students.

Introductory remarks were delivered by Nick Archer, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic. The keynote lecture, titled "Why the UK Voted to Leave the EU" was delivered by Professor Nathaniel Copsey from the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Aston University.

It was for the second time already when MUP was selected as the only Czech institution hosting such event in the Czech Republic.

Intensive Year of English Intensive Year of English 26. 9. 2017 Author: Romana Vančáková Run by the Department of Foreign Languages, this course has a three-year tradition at Metropolitan University Prague. This makes it a baby in comparison to our department, founded in 2008 and now becoming more of a confident teenager.
