You Better Watch out, Čert is Coming to Town
5. 12. 2014 Author: Damien Galeone
One of my favorite days of the year is approaching: December 5th, St. Mikuláš Day. Now, as I understand it, on the night before, St. Mikuláš walks around and interrogates children about their behavior during the past year. If the kids have been good, then one of Mikuláš’ assistants – an angel – treats them to sweets, nuts, or potatoes.

Teachers and traces
2. 4. 2014 11:51 Author: Markéta Nabiany
We cannot always choose our teachers. They will come along and we will learn. On our life path we meet many teachers - some of them we like to learn from, the others we have to learn from. We might not always want to learn, but we always do. From time to time, we all end up asking ourselves why we have to learn seemingly useless things from teachers we did not chose only to find out later how useful and important those lectures had been.
Colombia, the only risk is wanting to stay
17. 2. 2014 14:06 Author: Sandra Gottfriedová
Selling Colombia as a tourist destination has been a difficult task in the past. For many foreigners, images of drug violence eclipsed Colombia of Shakira, Juan Valdez, Fernando Botero or Gabriel García Márquez. Not even the lure of pristine Caribbean waters, ecological tourism in Amazon jungle or archaeological site of an ancient “Lost City” that it is believed to have been founded about 700 years earlier than Machu Picchu, was enough to help boost tourism to desired levels.
