Career Days – setkání studentů s firmou DEK Career Days – setkání studentů s firmou DEK 5. 5. 2025 Autor: Jaroslav Halík Ve středu 30. 4. 2025 proběhlo setkání studentů programu Mezinárodní obchod se zástupcem české akciové společnosti DEK, která se zabývá dodávkami materiálů a služeb pro stavebnictví. Firma je největším dodavatelem v daném oboru v České republice. S obratem okolo 30 mld. Kč ročně ovládá síť 141 prodejních skladů a zaměstnává více než 4,5 tisíce zaměstnanců. Hosty byli Çağdaş Özer, vedoucí pro adopci a integraci ESG reportovacích technologií, a Mykola Vlasov, odborník na Green Ledger a uhlíkové účetnictví ze společnosti SAP.

I proto se řadí mezi prioritní země české zahraniční rozvojové spolupráce. Směřuje tak do ní ročně (jen z rozpočtu ČR) několik milionů korun v podobě rozvojové pomoci. Podobně Zambie přijímá rozvojovou pomoc od řady ostatních zemí. Zambia is located in the southern part of the African continent and is one of the countries extremely rich in mineral resources, yet today it remains one of the poorest countries in the world. For this reason, it is among the priority countries for Czech foreign development cooperation. Every year, several million Czech crowns are directed to Zambia in the form of development aid, just from the Czech budget. Similarly, Zambia receives development aid from many other countries. But does this development aid truly help Zambia, or does it actually do more harm than good?
