Final Workshop & Book Launch in Szeged

17. 9. 2025 Author: Ladislav Cabada Metropolitan University Prague was represented by Professor Cabada, Vice-Rector of MUP, co-investigator of the project “Urban Post-COVID Recovery in the V4 Countries” and co-editor of the book “Urban Responses to the Covid-19 Pandemic” at a conference at the University of Szeged in Hungary on 11–12 September 2025.

The event marked the conclusion of a three-year project supported by the International Visegrad Fund (IVF). It provided a unique platform to present the research findings and to exchange experiences on post-pandemic urban recovery in the V4 countries.
The program included:

  • Academic Workshop
  • Round Table Debate with academics and practitioners
  • Young Practitioners Forum with students interested in post-COVID recovery

As part of the event, the book “Urban Responses to the Covid-19 Pandemic: Perspectives of the Visegrad Group Countries” (Routledge, 2025) was officially launched.
