The SMILE Incubator – Social Media Leadership Incubator for the Danube Region

24. 11. 2025 Dr. Petr Just presents the activities of the Metropolitan University Prague team within the SMILE Incubator – Social Media Leadership Incubator for the Danube Region, a collaborative initiative aiming to empower young people from underdeveloped and remote rural communities. The project addresses key regional challenges such as emigration, brain drain, and aging populations.

The SMILE Incubator brings together youth, academics, SMEs, NGOs, and media partners to:

  • Assess youth participation and leadership potential
  • Build transnational cooperation networks
  • Develop innovative capacity-building tools for social media leadership
