Metropolitan University Prague is organizing a workshop on media literacy and media education in the Danube region as part of the international grant project MELIA Observatory - Media Literacy Observatory for Active Citizenship and Sustainable Democracy. The workshop will mainly present interactive teaching materials created within the project, which aim to promote media education in the region.DATE&TIME: 28 January 2022, 9:00–11:30

Learning interactions address existing policy frameworks on media education and its implementation and necessary policy development in the area. Policy guidelines for strengthening youth media literacy skills and active citizenship in Danube region, being develop in the framework of MELIA Observatory will be addressed.

Katedra asijských studií MUP obdržela mimořádně cenný knižní dar v rámci grantového projektu Read Japan, který organizuje The Nippon Foundation za podpory Velvyslanectví Japonska. Do univerzitní knihovny MUP tak nově přibylo 74 knih věnovaných Japonsku, které zahrnují jak současné akademické publikace, tak umělecké knihy a významná díla japonské prózy.

On Friday, March 27, taking full advantage of MUP's amazing 'no classes on Fridays' schedule, it was time for our traditional MUP Lunch Event. Over 50 exchange students and also MUP Buddy Team members shared their local foods, drinks and created an international environment for the lunch.
