Lucia Argüellová worked at the EU Delegation to the Dominican Republic between 2021–2023 with an agenda of social cohesion, migration, culture, gender, human rights and civil society. Earlier, she directed the Latin American programming at the NGO People in Need. She is a graduate of the Metropolitan University and she was an associate researcher at its Ibero-American Center.
Open lecture is followed by a discussion moderated by Dr. Kateřina Březinová, the Head of Iberoamerican Centre of the MUP.

Metropolitní univerzita Praha uzavřela dne 19. ledna 2026 smlouvu o spolupráci s Univerzitou Karlovou – Ústavem jazykové a odborné přípravy (ÚJOP UK). Spolupráce je zaměřena na podporu vzdělávání, zejména v oblasti přípravy zahraničních studentů ke studiu v České republice.

Možnosti profesní kvalifikace ACCA pro studenty MUP

Na Metropolitní univerzitě Praha se uskutečnily dvě hostovské prezentace zaměřené na možnosti profesní kvalifikace ACCA, určené studentům ekonomických a manažerských oborů MUP. Přednášejícím byl PhDr. Pavel Procházka, Business Relationship Manager mezinárodní profesní organizace ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
