- How does the EU provide development aid, conduct foreign policy actions and promote fundamental rights in the Dominican Republic?
- What types of support does the EU provide to further its objectives?
- What is the impact of the EU action in the country?
- What are the challenges in the day-to-day implementation?
Lucia Argüellová worked at the EU Delegation to the Dominican Republic between 2021–2023 with an agenda of social cohesion, migration, culture, gender, human rights and civil society. Earlier, she directed the Latin American programming at the NGO People in Need. She is a graduate of the Metropolitan University and she was an associate researcher at its Ibero-American Center.
Open lecture is followed by a discussion moderated by Dr. Kateřina Březinová, the Head of Iberoamerican Centre of the MUP.

MUP hostila experta ze SAP: Jak AI mění svět lidských zdrojů

Katedra finančního managementu MUP uspořádala v pátek 14. listopadu 2025 hostovskou přednášku pana Štěpána Koníčka ze společnosti SAP, zaměřenou na moderní řízení lidských zdrojů a využití umělé inteligence v praxi. Akce se zúčastnilo přibližně 50 studentů, kteří ocenili především propojení teorie s praxí a otevřený pohled do fungování globální technologické společnosti.
