The lecture will be an opportunity to discuss the Moroccan social and economic development process. The focus in this lecture will be on two crucial points:

1. the start of economic and social convergence, including achievements of Morocco in terms of economic and social progress over the past decades,
2. the slow and incomplete convergence process in terms economic and social development.
