A panel of experts including Associate Prof. Nikola Hynek, Dr. Šárka Kolmašová and Dr. Evans Fanoulis will be available to pass on their advice and to answer questions on getting the PhD finished, surviving the defence, and making the first steps into a professional academic career, including publication strategy, research grant activity and applying for post-doctoral fellowships.
NB: All doctoral students are welcome (whether or not affiliated to MUP), as are potential PhD candidates.
STAR is the Student Audience for Research, MUP’s forum for the exchange of ideas under the auspices of the Department of Anglophone Studies.
