28/01/2014 - Asian Floor Opening Ceremony
On 28 January 2014, Metropolitan University Prague welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of India H. E. Mr. Venkatesan Ashok as a guest of honor at the ribbon cutting ceremony of a set of Rabindranath Tagore’s paintings which were donated by the Embassy on the occasion of the Conference on South Asia in November 2013. The day was also a great opportunity to publicly unveil a brand new installation of a collection of vivid photographs from various regions across the Asian continent.The pictures present a variety of ancient and modern Asian architecture, breathtaking natural landscapes as well as the peoples of Asia and their distinct cultural heritage and are further supplemented by a stylish wallpaper that features surprising and often peculiar facts about the world’s largest and most populous continent. Let the vibrant colors of Asia brighten up your day!

Delegace tchajwanských univerzit na Metropolitní univerzitě Praha

Metropolitní univerzitu Praha navštívila delegace třiceti zástupců z dvanácti předních tchajwanských univerzit. Se zástupci vedení MUP, jednotlivých kateder, CVVA a zahraničního oddělení jednali v příjemné a konstruktivní atmosféře o možnostech dalšího rozvoje vzájemné akademické spolupráce.

Vedoucí Katedry mezinárodního obchodu prof. Josef Šíma vystoupil 4. 12. 2025 v Bratislavě na oslavách 20 let založení nejvlivnějšího slovenského ekonomického think-tanku – Institutu ekonomických a sociálních studií (INESS), na jehož vzniku se spolupodílel.
