On 6 May 2014 the IRES Department held a guest lecture on Crisis in Central African Republic: From War to Chaos and Back Again? Guest lecturer: Mrs. Ludmila Bohmova.
The guest lecture was dedicated to the violence in the CAR which has reached a new and unprecedented level in the recent months. The armed groups are extremely violent and the number of victims among the civilian population is growing. The conflict is complex and runs along religious and ethnic lines.
The guest speaker Ludmila Bohmova focused on the recent developments in the CAR and elaborated upon the ethnic and religious dimensions, the role of the government and the way forward.

Možnosti profesní kvalifikace ACCA pro studenty MUP

Na Metropolitní univerzitě Praha se uskutečnily dvě hostovské prezentace zaměřené na možnosti profesní kvalifikace ACCA, určené studentům ekonomických a manažerských oborů MUP. Přednášejícím byl PhDr. Pavel Procházka, Business Relationship Manager mezinárodní profesní organizace ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
Delegace tchajwanských univerzit na Metropolitní univerzitě Praha

Metropolitní univerzitu Praha navštívila delegace třiceti zástupců z dvanácti předních tchajwanských univerzit. Se zástupci vedení MUP, jednotlivých kateder, CVVA a zahraničního oddělení jednali v příjemné a konstruktivní atmosféře o možnostech dalšího rozvoje vzájemné akademické spolupráce.
