8th MUP Gala Ball
On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Metropolitan University Prague, the 8th MUP Gala Ball will be held on Friday, 18 March 2016, from 7:30 p.m. in the magnificent premises of the Municipal House at Náměstí Republiky in Prague 1. Once again, the event will have three halls at its disposal: the unique Smetana Hall, the Sladkovský Hall, and the Grégr Hall.
What have we prepared for you?
As usual, there will be ample entertainment. You can dance the night away in the Smetana Hall to the music of Top Band Jakuba Smolíka with featured solo singers. An interesting performance will be offered by the 4TET and you will certainly also enjoy the performance of the Jelen music group.
Make sure to catch the performance of the principal guest of the evening, the Gypsy.cz music group that will play their original hits fusing together elements of pop-music and rap, as well as the contagious playful rhythms of traditional Romani music.
In addition to the ample musical entertainment, you can join in on the popular tradition of getting a photograph with historic accessories on the second floor of the Municipal House. Our photographers will be on hand to capture a memory of the evening for you!
Ticket Sales
Tickets are going on sale on 4 February 2016 and can be purchased in MUP Student Services offices in Jarov, Žižkov, Pilsen, Liberec, and Hradec Králové. In MUP building in Strašnice, tickets can be purchased at the reception desk (Information Centre). The tickets are CZK 250 each and can also be purchased in MUP eShop at eshop.mup.cz.
